Will you assemble IKEA furniture?
Yes! We've assembled thousands of IKEA pieces. We're very familiar.
What if I lost the assembly instructions?
Usually not a problem - we have experience and can figure it out. Or we can find instructions online.
Can you assemble furniture I bought but haven't put together?
Yes, standalone assembly service available (charged hourly). Common for people who bought furniture and need help.
Do you provide assembly tools?
Yes! We bring all tools needed. You don't need to provide anything.
What about complex furniture like cable machines?
We can disassemble/reassemble, but may require waiver for cable machines (see Exercise Equipment page).
Can you remove and reinstall doors?
Yes, interior doors commonly removed for furniture clearance. We reinstall them.
Will you reconnect my washer water lines?
Yes, but we're not liable for leaks. Check connections after and monitor. Consider hiring plumber if concerned.
What if hardware gets lost?
Won't happen! We bag, label, and tape hardware to each furniture piece. Stays together throughout move.

House Door Removal & Reinstallation
When Furniture Won't Fit
Common Scenario:
- Refrigerator won't fit through doorway
- Couch too wide for door
- Dresser hits doorframe
- Any furniture clearance issue
Our Solution:
- Remove door temporarily
- Gains critical inches of clearance
- Move furniture through
- **Reinstall door immediately**
- Home secured again
Doors We Can Remove:

- Sometimes exterior doors (if absolutely necessary and you approve)
Process:
- Remove pins from hinges
- Set door aside safely
- Move furniture through
- Reinstall door and pins

No Damage:
We protect doorframes during furniture passage.
The Alternative:
Without door removal, furniture might not fit, or even scratch. We problem-solve to make it work!
Tips for Smooth Assembly/Disassembly
Before We Arrive
If We're Moving You:
- Nothing! We handle it all as part of the move
If You're Hiring Standalone Assembly:
- Have assembly instructions if available
- Clear space for assembly
- Let us know if furniture is going upstairs
Keep Original Hardware
Moving Tip:
- Keep original screws and hardware if you disassembled yourself
- Our hardware might not match exactly
- Original is always best
But If Lost:
- We often have spare hardware
- Can purchase replacements if needed

Securing Furniture for Safe Transport
We Check Inside EVERYTHING Before Wrapping
Step 1: Open & Inspect
- Open all drawers
- Check all cabinets
- Look inside furniture
- Identify any loose items
Step 2: Make Decisions
- Empty drawers? Leave empty
- Full of clothes/items? Either remove OR secure drawers shut
- Loose items inside cabinets? Remove or secure
- Shelves that could shift?
Remove or secure
Step 3: Secure
- Wrap dresser/cabinet with stretch wrap (keeps drawers closed)
- Or remove drawers and wrap separately
- Tape cabinet doors if needed
- Make sure NOTHING can fall out
Why This Critical:
- We flip furniture to wrap it!
- We tilt furniture to load it!
- Unsecured items = fall out = damage
- We prevent this by thorough checking
Example - Dresser Full of Clothes:
1. We check drawers (full of clothes)
2. Wrap entire dresser with stretch wrap (secures all drawers)
3. Flip dresser to wrap bottom and sides
4. Nothing falls out because drawers are secured!
5. Load on truck safely
6. Deliver and unwrap
7. Clothes still in drawers, ready to go!
